Build Own and Operate - BOO
Foster Wheeler Italiana is active in the Italian BOO (Build, Own and Operate) market, prevailingly in initiatives for the production of electricity both from traditional sources (combined cycle power stations) and renewable sources (wind farms, biomass, waste to energy plants).
As BOO operator, FWI holds participations in or directly controls several power production initiatives. In all such cases Foster Wheeler Italiana has developed the project and built the facilities.
